When young national guardsman Dean
Moreton stumbles upon a long-buried Mesopotamian crypt in Southern
Iraq, he is possessed by Marduk, an ancient, power-mad God with
a terrible grudge against mankind.
Dean soon returns to his hometown of Yarwood, Colorado, as a changed man. Covered
with bizarre but beautiful symbolic tattoos, Dean places these marks on most
of his friends. Soon after, the people who have accepted Dean's "ink" are
transformed into murderous Gargoyles that do Marduk's evil bidding.
A bloody reign of terror is unleashed on the town, as those slaughtered by the
terrifying gargoyles become an undead army of zombie slaves working secretly
to rebuild Marduk's temple and allow the vengeful deity to rule the world.
Only Dean's girlfriend Shayla, and his best pal, Tim, discover the truth. But
will they be too late? The fate of humanity hangs in the balance as Shayla
and Tim wage magical war against those who've been MARKED.
